Como hacer correctamente un tonel lento?

Lo primero que vam= os a revisar en el avión para que ejecute buenos toneles son los defectos= de armado, es decir, si tiene problemas con la incidencia del motor, y las med= idas que se describieron en el artículo de puesta a punto para el looping. Para esto revisaremos todas las constantes de medición sobre el modelo en tierra y luego veremos si hay que realiz= ar cambios de la incidencia del motor.

Lo segundo que realizaremos es verificar el buen funcionamiento del diferencial de alerone= s. La corrección de alerones diferenciales consiste en hacer que el mod= elo role perfectamente sobre su eje longitudinal. Este es un problema muy común en los aviones acrobáticos y casi nunca es tenido en cu= enta por los pilotos. El problema consiste en que el alerón que baja suele tener más efecto que el alerón que sube, de esta forma al moverlos para hacer un tonel, el alerón que baja levanta el ala mucho más rápido de lo que baja la otra y produce un desplazamiento hacia el lado del roll. Es decir que si hacemos= un roll a la derecha el rumbo también variar&aacu= te; hacia la derecha.

Para corregir esto haremos lo siguiente: con el modelo en vuelo recto y nivelado con potencia a full subiremos hasta marcar una línea de ascenso de 45° y realiz= amos 1 ½ roll por ejemplo hacia la derecha. S= i el modelo desvía su rumbo hacia la derecha quiere decir que hay que disminuir el movimiento del alerón izquierdo, es decir, el aler&oacu= te;n que baja. O también se puede aumentar el movimiento al alerón derecho que en este caso es el alerón que sube. Se debe ejecutar est= e test hacia los dos lados.

Hay que tener en cuenta que se debe realizar la corrección solamente sobre uno de los alerones y re-testear el avión en el aire para ver si mejoró.= Las radios con computadora y algunas analógicas traen la función = de alerones diferenciales y se puede corregir el movimiento de cada aler&oacut= e;n desde ahí sin ningún problema.

Otra prueba que se puede hacer para esto es subir en posición vertical so= bre nuestra cabeza y realizar toneles consecutivos, de esta forma tendremos otro punto de vista para saber si hemos ajustado correctamente el diferencial. C= on este mismo criterio se deben realizar toneles consecutivos en un perfecto descenso (con muy baja potencia o sin potencia) para estar seguros de una puesta a punto ideal.

El otro factor a tener en cuenta es el ajuste del centro de gravedad. Para esto vamos a realizar un vuelo a cuchillo con potencia a full y veremos si el mo= delo debe bajar mucho la cola para poder mantener la maniobra, si es así,= se deberá atrasar un poco el CG y probar de nuevo. La idea es retrazar = el CG hasta que el modelo vuele con una muy leve inclinación de su fuselaje, es decir, apenas con la cola abajo a un rango medio de compensación en el stick del timó= n. Se debe trabajar sobre el setup del modelo lo mejor posible hasta que realice los roles de la mejor manera.

De otra forma un día de viento nuestro modelo será influenciado por la acción de este, y si no esta ajustado como corresponde deberemos compensar toda la acción del viento mas t= odos los defectos del avión.
